Yay Food!

Bought some grocery stuffs. Mostly stuff to make more scones. I do not know why I am obsessed, I guess they're just striking my fancy. We went to Biggs Hyde Park *___* Niiiice grocery store. Spent too much money, but goddammit -- hey had my favorite irish breakfast tea in loose leaf ***____*** Happy Megan. My roomie laughed at me, but that's okay.

Also got salad stuffs and what I needed to make daddy's buffalo sauce. Yus. Victoly \o/

Now to commence with the scone making. My basic ol' buttermilk ones yesterday turned out well, so today we experiment. Recipes are for wusses.

Happy Weekend! And, uh, easter. Which reminds me I never get to do holiday smut stuffs anymore. Maybe I will do that this weekend, if the stuff I should be doing lets me slack ^^

Mm, scones! Do you have any confectioner's sugar? You could mix that with milk to make a yummy glaze for the tops.

Two don't require a glaze, and the third we're trying a normal powdered sugar glaze, like you suggest, but with a touch of lemon extract ^___^

No, no, it's not like that. Sarah was laughing cause usually she's the one squeeing over something to the point that other people go O_o For once it was me. She said my eyes went positively sparklie when I saw it. Psh, you should Sarah peruse her veggies. That girl is a positive snob.

Tea is a good thing to squee over too. Though I think the only tea I've embarrassed myself over was the London Fruit & Herb Peach Tea which is a pain and a half to locate without mail ordering it. >.>;;
