Dude, one of these days people will get it through their peabrains that some of us single people don't mind we're missing out on the magicalness of coupledom. Yes, I know I'm sadly lacking my other half and everyone my age should be hook up -__- stfu. I'm fairly serious when I say I'm married to my writing (though of course I will always have torrid affairs with other books. Like the new Lord John that needs to come out right now, goddammit, to hell with this waiting crap).

My copy of Sandstorm came today. I am so very very happy with it, yus. Unfortunately, I just wasted like an hour perusing it instead of getting work done >.>;;;

Guess I should get to work then, esp. as it would seem my roommate is not coming home.

One day down, four to go.

Well, at least you're not needy like the rest of them. Relationships like those seem an honest waste of time and fake. It's better to be married to something like books or writing. They'll tick you off but never truly let you down.

Sandstorm? Does this mean Kidnapped's next or Treasure? Forgot the order in which they go...

That's great that you like your own story! Some people have trouble with that.

Yay! And, I have birthday, taxes, AND rebate all coming in the next two months. I can't wait to blow it all on books. Well, okay, not all of it. ^_^

Perhaps if you and your writing exchanged rings...? *ducks*

Mmmm, books.

*snicker* Megan, you have a ring! Who gave it to you! My laptop, it was very touching. You are so fucking weird, Megan.

Silly, silly people. I too am happily single and have been for a few years now. I like my independence, and not depending on others in private life is very... liberating. :)

Sometimes I wish I had a boyfriend. Sometimes I feel like a freak because I'm not dating/engaged/married. Yet another one of my friends told me she's preggo today and another one just bonked her math professor even though they're both married.

I need a flow chart.

30 is the new 20 and as far as I'm concerned, if you try hard to not be single, things don't always work out so well. Things happen when they happen, maybe with a little nudge here and there, but otherwise, being a singleton is not so bad.

I think being single only really sucks/is a bad thing if you want to be with someone and can't because they won't make up their minds for various and sundry reasons.

Otherwise? I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of it. Why is it bad to be by yourself and happy that way?

I'm totally buying you a ring and signing it "May the Magic We Make Never End, Your Loving Dell XPS Laptop."

OR YOU COULD TOTALLY MARRY ME. IRL, I'm actually kind of...domestic. O.o And boring. very boring. And just a little obscene. BUT FOR YOU I'D WEAR A SUIT AND PUT ON MY GOOD BRA. <33333

THAT'S FAR MORE THAN SHE OFFERED WHEN PROPOSING TO ME.

And I find this subject oddly timely since I'm reviewing a book about the subject . . .

hear, hear!
