So, my guilty guilty pleasure in the book world are the J.D.Robb 'In Death' books. They're fucking hilarious -- at least, the audio books are a riot, I haven't actually read any of them.

But, while we were on our road trip o' doom, my mom only had one (the one that got me hooked). I was going to buy more to dump on my ipod, but itunes didn't have them (and less than legal routes failed me).

I looked today, just for kicks, and itunes now has all of them.

My mother will probably be amused by this, which is why I post.

Now to get to work and NOT buy one or two >.> Cause, come on, the characters fucking slay me. It's so rare I like the chick...

Hm, cool. They have a bunch of those at the library, though only a couple on tape. I'll have to check them out. Have you read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books? I only read the first 10, but read them all within a couple of weeks. Funny. Stephanie's two love interests should totally have sex, though.

Also, how fast does Nora Roberts write, that she can be writing as two different people? Meg, if you ever start writing another genre under a different name, you must tell me. K? ^_^

Oh my! Those are my guilty pleasures too! I constantly cringe at the "oh she's so sensitive but no one understands cuz she's a tough cop and woman" etc routine. My most sincere wish is for *some* gay couple to turn up as regulars. Someone who isn't murdered or turns out to be a criminal, that is.

I have to go shopping tomorrow, I will seek her out ^__^

Ahaha, I'd suck at having two identities. Amanda Quick does it too, no idea how.

I should go see if Rook and Noor want to cooperate yet. I have not forgotten your request ^__^

I do hate that bit, but it only crops up sometimes. Most of the time, I'm just laughing my ass off. Her husband is a freakin' riot. Though, the first time I heard his description, I asked if he was a vampire. My mother and sister howled, and I keep calling him a vampire now. My dad wasn't amused, but that just made it all the funnier.

True true. Roark and his sporadic Gaelic. I still want some gay. I mean, The Nora could write a great slash story methinks. Wishfully. I REALLY want Trueheart and Baxter to do the tango. lol.
