Especially when it means I get sneezing and headaches and watery eyes. At random. I'll be fine fine fine, then death, then fine, then death. Ahahaha. Stupid allergies.

I really need to get winter type stuff, cause I managed to scrape by last year, but this year I'm going to freeze to death. Of course, it might also help if I stored stuff properly, instead of just tossing it aside and then wondering where the fuck my gloves and hat went.

Oh, but [livejournal.com profile] jolena left her SU Toboggan here. It is mine now! \o/

Hopefully, I won't have to worry about any of this crap until October, but we'll see. Cincinnati loves its cold, and tends to get it fast, grr.

I have no coffee in the house. This sucketh. Sadly, grocery shopping will have to wait 'til the weekend, cause I don't like being out while it's dark, and this time of year it starts getting dark shortly after six, alas.

Should have spent this morning writing, got distracted by other stuffs.

Now, which of these fifty bajillion bad supernatural books do I read? I'm going to beat [livejournal.com profile] amasugiru upside the head.

LOLOLOLOL.... I hope you find one good one in the lot. I think you might want to take another look at the Sookie Stackhouse series. They are making that one into a TV series on HBO called "True Blood". There's been lots of hype about it. Looks good but I will reserve my judgement for later.

Sookie Stackhouse -- the southern vampire mysteries -- actually is pretty fun. It deals with the idea that it would SUCK to know what other people thought all the time -- because, frankly, there is such a thing as too much information. The True Blood series is also viewable online, if you want to see it (I mean, what has been released so far) and if you read the books and want links to the TV series, it's not too hard to find. (And if it is, just poke me and I'll direct you to them) The more recent Sookie Stackhouse books aren't as good, but that's just what happens when you get to the eleventy billionth book in a series. It stops being awesome. (I mean, it could be that it's perfectly awesome, and this is just my ADD talking; in any case, they weren't as interesting to ME. But the first handful or so are totally worth reading.)

Uhm, back to what I was originally going to say, before I saw the first comment:

ALLERGIES. Ugh. Mine manifest in stuffiness and itchiness INSIDE MY THROAT AND EARS AND NOSE. I want to claw my insides out and make them stop. And the face I make when I'm struck by that urge is apparently very interesting. Also, spontaneously being struck-by-the-goo-monster is also apparently part of my autumn experience.

I don't get the headaches, though. I'm sorry that you do -- headaches suck. (I realize this is stating the obvious. But still.) I really hope that your allergies stop bothering you soon.

If you really are worried about winter things, I wouldn't mind sending scarves/mittens/hats/etc if you have a place you'd want them shipped to....? I live in California, and somehow end up with a bunch of these things, even though where I live an inch of snow would be reported in the newspapers as a special rare event. (I have never seen it here, but my neighbors who have lived here for over fifty years have, so I know it's possible. Just not likely.)

You could totally start a 'dammit-if-I-freeze-to-death-no-more-stories-are-forthcoming' drive. You'd probably get lots of things! X3

Hope you're having a good time, in spite of a lack of coffee (and a lamentable presence of allergies).

You should move down south - it's always summer here. No cold to speak of - well, almost. *mutter* Already with the allergies? Hope you feel better - get plenty of rest and be lazy! That is the best cure. (And soup)

I'm sick to death of south. I'm from Iowa. Its not too warm, its not too cold. My work decided to send me away for a week of training. I left it was a respectable 70 degrees for the high. I get down to Texas and step off the plane to 90 degrees. I went all summer at home without much in the 90 degree mark, this is murder!

Well, to be fair its been murder with a bunch of RAIN. *sigh* I want to go home.
