What are my peeps favorite story cliches? ^__^

I like this one as long as it isn't overused. I once read a fic where every single character somehow had a lost relative. It was the only plot device. I wasn't able to finish the fic.

My favourite is class difference. You know, the lord and the servant type of thing.

The "I love your friend and I use you to get closer only to fall in love with you in the end". It has the potential for fun situations. Or the ever "I hate you only I don't". But with Prisoner you really make it difficult to write a better one.

MC Needs To Be Drawn Out Of His Shell (of shyness, of anger, of-of-of hiding his sadness that No One Sees behind a happy face, etc) And Love Interest Is Just The One To Do It.

Oh! And this isn't a favorite of mine (can be great if done well but) who can forget HIGH SCHOOL FIC. XD;

Or maybe not high school because sometimes writers make MCs so young. It'd have to be Senioryear!HS fic, or another type of school. Dorms always have potential.
