Oh gods! Maybe with leaner bacon, because I'm used to fat products in Romanian recipes but that just looks like a heart attack waiting to happen. I'd rather grate the cheese on mushrooms and bake them.

Ah good! Just remember, we do have Robert as a name - but Bobitza, he would have come post-1990, because the whole nation was watching "Dallas" at the time. Farmers seemed incredibly fond of naming their bulls and rams Bobiţă, at the time. =^_^=

Wow...Strangely enough, I think I know people that would eat that - one of my housemates and his girlfriend really like bacon. There's a weekend at my school where high school students come to take random classes taught by college students, anything and everything. They taught one of the of the sillier classes - Bacon Appreciation. (And a serious class as well, if i remember correctly.)

It was 1992, and we only had one TV channel to watch, at the time. So everybody was watching whatever they aired. I think it's safe to say none of us had ever seen a soap opera before.
