Finished Outlander. Wished I'd stopped halfway through, I liked the first chunk or so way better than the end. I dunno. I'm not feeling the Jamie love so much. He's a Laird with a crime he didn't commit on his head, he can do fuck everything extremely well, he's damn near perfect of personality, he's Suffered A Lot and in the end he gets beaten tortured and raped so his perfect and noble wife of the future can save him, find god, and they can be closer and more perfect a couple than ever. I didn't hate the book, but I kinda got sick of Jamie the Perfect and Long Suffering Hero and his I can Heal, Sing, Tell Fortunes, blah blah blah wife.

Maybe I'm just not in the mood. I dunno, I love adore and worship the Lord John books. Claire, not so much.

A girl at work begged and begged and begged me to read Twilight -__- So, I'mma gonna try. Not that I think for two seconds I'll like it, but she was so fucking earnest. But, I'm also going to start Ender's Shadow while I'm at it. So those are my books for the next few weeks.

Will try to remember to get Midnight up tonight. Argh, I fail.
