Home again, home again

Got back to Cincinnati last night. I miss my family already. Am always in a funk the first week I get back after seeing them. I really hope in a couple of years I can move closer to my family. Being so far away is overrated.

Asked for an electric blanket for Christmas--got that and an electric matress cover. Did not even know those existed. It was the most awesome thing ever.

My house is, of course, a mess and my roomie when I arrived was more dead than alive. Do not want to go to work tomorrow.

Hopefully will pass my driving test next Saturday, but I'm not thinking about it. The next three weeks or so are going to be insanely stressful, so I'm glad I got so much time off with my family first.

Now I need to start unpacking, and getting this house clean, and go for groceries if I have the monies, and see if I can't get fully into Cincinnati mode before I have to return to reality in full tomorrow.

With all that electric heat, you're never going to want to leave your bed (at least during winter)

Don't worry too much on the driving test. I went thru a stop sign on mine & still got my licence. (I went back over the route to find this stop sign & found a tree was in front of the stop sign such that unless you were really looking or knew it was there, you'd miss it.)
