Was not supposed to, really only went to store for some basic underthings that were sorely needed. But, the shoes were on sale. I got a cute pair of brown ballet slippers, and then some awesome black boots. Both are good for work ^__^

I keep making dumbass mistakes while driving, but I guess it'll smooth out with time.

Now to figure out dinner, then write!

Heh, I got a hot chocolate at the starbucks in Meijer, but the woman was totally new and sorta wigged. I'd wanted the signature hot chocolate, and she just made the normal, but all is good ^__^ And, it was funny when they warned me it would be super! hot. My roomie is constantly baffled by the tempurates at which I take my hot beverages. What is the point of a hot drink if it's not scalding, I ask you?

You would get along well with my mother then, she also drinks her hot drinks at mouth-scalding temperatures. I prefer to be able to taste things. ;)

I taste them just fine?

Clearly your tongue is tougher than mine. If I eat or drink something that's too hot, I can't taste anything for the next couple of days.

Brown ballet slipper sound SO cute! Are you on your feet a lot, though? Hope they don't make your feet hurt.

Yeah, the driving will smooth out. I remember hearing that teens have way faster reflexes than adults, but often had to use them b/c they lacked the ability/experience to notice things before the last minute. Like, oh hey, brake lights 50 yards up, I should slow down, maybe. I figure you are right in the middle, with still good reflexes and maturity. The experience will come with... er, experience. ^___^

Ooh, was thinking of something I learned in driver's ed that has been invaluable. You have more traction while accelerating than while decelerating. The idea was to brake before a turn, then step on the gas while turning. Sometimes this is possible without being re-ended. Otherwise, though, it is just a good physics thing to know on slippery roads and stuff.

I'm with T.O.D. If something is really hot, I don't taste it. But hey, no hot liquid law suits for you, eh? ^__^

I made a lot of dumbass mistakes when I was first driving too X__x;

And I didn't drive a lot either, so it took me awhile to get used to it.

Come to think of it I still do from time to time (that's so reassuring I'm sure), and my parents do as well. But I make *less* of them and am a lot more comfortable driving than I was when I first started out.

It gets better!

And yay for hot chocolate ♥ I'm in the middle with my drinks, I like them hot, but not too hot. ^^;;;

You've obviously never had the roof of your mouth burned off and bleeding if you can say that.

Hurt like a motherfuckin'bitch.

When I first started driving I made plenty of mistakes. I was also lucky enough to make those mistakes when no one was anywhere near me or could see my stupidity. God, they aren't kidding in all those movies when you see the idiot driver reach to the floor to grab a pencil he dropdeOMG TREE!!

Seriously though, I almost wrecked that van coming home from work at 7 am once. Stupid candy bar wrappers are complicated >_>

You'll get more comfortable the longer you have to deal with the idiots out there. Kinda like the rest of life eh?
