Mmm, Shinedown
Jan. 17th, 2009 12:21 pmI'm not usually one for concerts. I like listening to my music free of crowds, and at levels that don't destroy my ears, and so I can repeat shit when I feel like it. But, every now and then it's totaly worth it. If Shinedown ever came to town, I would totally go see them. Am totally and helplessly in love with them ^___^

Date: 2009-01-18 02:30 am (UTC)I love live music, whatever the kind, but I can't deny that some bands put on a better show than others. Shinedown came to town (for me, at least) a few years ago, as part of a music festival that is sadly disbanded due to lack of funding now, and despite the oppressive heat it was one of the best stage shows I've seen. Some bands have good music but are simply just not that entertaining on stage, but Shinedown wasn't like that. I had fun!
Here ends today's Anecdote You Don't Care About (sorry for talking about myself this entire comment).

Date: 2009-01-18 02:32 am (UTC)dear, you're not obliged to comment at all. I don't hold with rules like that. Yours is a name I'm always happy to see, but I never expect anything.
That being said, I am happy to hear they're good live. I've been disappointed by bands before, when I actually shelled out to see them (Blink 182 disappointed me big time). They are apparenty coming to Cincinnati in March, I may go try to see now that you say they are worth it ^__^

Date: 2009-01-18 02:44 am (UTC)Heh. A year ago I'd never heard of them, and I woudln't have noticed anyway. Not being one for concerts, I never think to look or keep track. Every concernt I've ever gone to, was someone else inviting or dragging me ^^;;;;
