I bought my Howdunit Book of Poisons: A Guide for Writers mostly just because I liked the idea of having a book all about poisons. I figured I would use it once or twice, every once in a great great while.

Kinda funny how often I do use it, and for various and sundry reasons.

It's an awesome book! *cherishes her own copy* Of course, what with mage and assassin muses around, it sees its fair share of usage over here as well. ^_~

It has also made me realize that I can poison someone merely by using plants available at my aunt's. And that I have procured/bought and planted some of said plants. Which is pretty cool!

Mmmm, yes!

Did I mention that I have 3 types of oleander, and several types of crocus? Just in case one of them does bad because they have pretty flowers, of course. Also, this lovely, thick patch of lilly of the valley. XD

Um, for writing purposes, right? You use it often, for various and sundry reasons, while writing, right? Right?

Oh, awesome ^__^ I have no idea, honestly. It's this one (http://www.amazon.com/HowDunit-Book-Poisons-Serita-Stevens/dp/158297456X/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233519189&sr=8-1).

That's the new one. Although, in hindsight it was a silly question. The older one had a different title - Deadly Doses: A Writer's Guide to Poisons. ^.^;

I bought it too actually, when you mentioned it the first time. Haven't used it yet, but I've made all my writing friends jealous because they want one too.

who's that smokin' platinum blond (or is that wheat? not too savvy when it comes to shades of blonde, i'm afraid) on top of your lj, by the way? is he from one of your stories?
