maderrThat 97,000 words into Bound, and a little over 100,000 still to go, I am very proud of this story and so far extremely happy with it. If anyone tries to bash this story when I'm done, or nitpick, I will likely lose my temper in a way I have not done in at least a decade. I adore DwtD, Sandstorm pleases me, but I think the world of Prisoner will always be my baby. Peple can suck the joy out of the rest of my stories, but no one will take Prisoner.
Though, writing Bound, I keep fighting an urge to do a drabble for Beraht & Dieter I've wanted to do for some time. I think I may slack off tonight and do that--especially since tomorrow I have to be a cleaning machine, as my guests are arriving a week early.
But, it's rare I actually just stop and enjoy my own stories. As hard as this story is, and despite the fact it constantly intimidates me, I love it muchly. I just hope everyone else does, as well. Given the track record with Midnight, I worry, but my readers so far have approved.
