If I sit here any longer staring at this stupid fucking story, I'm going to do something I'll regret. I am insanely fucking bitter, though. I had plans to punch out four chapters. Four! And I have just over a page of one chapter *snarl*

This so fucking sucks, I can't even stand it. I want to punch something.

Perhaps take a short break from it, do a few drabbles if anything is tugging at you, and see if it cooperates later? Or even take a break to do something you enjoy that isn't related to writing at all. Working while your frustrated is probably not going to do you any good and, if anything, may just make it even more difficult for you to write (or result in writing that you'll just want to delete later).

As demanding as all of your readers tend to be, I don't think anyone will mind too much if Bound takes longer than you anticipated to get out (I assume that's the story being difficult). So please don't force yourself too hard.

I thought about you last night as I was making chicken soup. I was feeling all grumpy like Bastion, and made Maile-can't-leave-well-enough-alone style chicken soup.

I wonder why I make soup when it's warm and not cold...

I know you probably don't want to hear this. But, now is probably a good time to take a step back and let it simmer for a bit. Work on something else or just plain edit old stories if you're worried you'll loose you're train of thought on Bound. Don't try and force it. Let it come to you. Sometimes it helps to talk out some of the issues with someone who knows you, knows the story and knows writing. Don't stress it. It'll come to you.

I know how to manage when a story doesn't work. My frustration lies with the fact that it chose this weekend, which I set aside for it, not to cooperate. AS it happens, sticking with it worked.
