Found no furniture worth anything, even after an entire fucking day of shopping. I saw a chair at IKEA I really want, and may yet get just b/c it's so fucking comfy, but it would knock me back $135.00 *sigh* Also saw a bed I want there, like burning, and for which I intend to save up.

Otherwise, total bust. Bought PJ pants as a consolation prize, though mostly b/c I needed them.

Now I am going to relax before falling down ded in my bed and not waking up until someone or guilt makes me.

::blinks:: Strangely enough, I bought PJ pants myself today. They are purple! What chair? ^__^ Is it a desk or a lounge chair? (You are totally going to be sick of me, I am sure at some point. ^__^ Also, I really really want to go to bed, but they are all watching TV in the living room where the couch is so I cannot. It's terrible, my life is full of woe and angst, alas.)

Slept at two. Just now dragging myself from bed; Judy's still sleeping the bum.

(I'm on a different computer -- what did you think of the futons I sent you? Though I half think that maybe we want to cheap out and get a used couch and spend the money on a washer dryer?)

Ah, that was you. I did reply, but I guess you would not be able to get them. They're okay? I saw the one at walmart, but it was meh. If we can find one used, that may be the way to go, cause I totally want to save up myself for some of the stuff I saw at IKEA. Anyway, with Judy threatening to break furniture, we'd better make certain it's not 500.00 furniture ^_~

This is true, though I do think she'd be more careful if we took a chunk out of her for to pay for something. ^___^ And I know Judy thinks used couches are a bit sketchy (sort of in the realm of used mattresses) but I'm not so set against? Though I wonder how we'd transport, since we've only got little cars b/t us all.

I can def see her point; I doubt we'd ever want to look too closely, but I am game? Sarah and I might be trying one more place today, that just opened in Fairfield. It's called Discount Mattress and Furniture outlet or something.

I definitely do not recommend the futons from Walmart. We got one for here once and it fell apart within months. >_<

Although, if their is any kind of furniture or whatever big thing that you need from there, maybe wait on it? 'Cause if I can get up there when I want, I can totally use my discount card and save you 10% on that shit. Just throwing it out there.

Also, that chair looks snazzy.

I bought my bedroom furniture from a Cort furniture clearance center. The one in Tri-County is closed, but there is one up off Tylersville. I also got my computer desk of DOOM from there.

Figure it might be something you could look into.
