the Amazon Whack

maderrI got a petition a few hours ago, and since have gotten many comments and emails since, concerning this - and I see dozens of posts about it, and I find the entire thing baffling in its stupidity.
Apparently Amazon is ranking GLBT books as 'adult' and stripping them of their sales ranks, so that they do not show up in various searches and all.
I will not rehash what many have already said, and much better, merely provide those links. I wonder what Amazon is playing, at, however. It seems too stupid a move to make any sort of sense--not to mention it cannot be entirely legal. But, we shall see. As others have said, it's still the weekend, and a holiday weekend at that. We'll see what comes over the next few days.
