He is not taking to the move well. He was better this morning, and actually followed me a little bit out of my room, so I took him downstairs with me....and now I cannot find him anywhere.

Poor baby... I've never seen a cat like moving, but most get used to it after a few weeks. If you can coax him out with treats that sometimes helps.

He is undoubdetly hiding in that Nth dimention, available only for cats. He'll come out when he gets lonely.

He'll probably show up when he's hungry or lonely... that's what my kitties do...

Poor you and Nickle. My brother's cats hid for about a week after his recent move, and now they own the place, as usual. Sucks to be mommy during that time, and have the worry, though. *pets*

I rather think he's exploring, which is good, since that means he'll settle in faster. And if you drove him to your new house, well. Cats, I have learned don't like being in cars. He may just be mad at you.

Whatever the reason, he'll come out when he's lonely or hungry. In the mean time, open all the blinds. No doubt he will be attracted to warm sunny spots for naps, and then you will know vaguely where to find him.
