The sun smiles down upon me
Jul. 25th, 2003 02:33 pmI have a job interview. Today at 5:00.
I still can't believe it, so if anyone is snorting in disbelief I can't blame you. The saddest part is that it's one of the upteen millionth office jobs I've applied for-the only difference is that my mom knows several people that work there. In small towns, it's who you know not how good you are at anything. Wish me luck.
More importantly, I'm finally all set for Yaoi-con! I have my ticket (which was 281.50, and I know that's a good price) and I just finished making the hotel reservations. And the reservation was for two, as it seems I won't be going entirely alone to the convention-my Japanese teacher is living on the west coast now, and she really wanted to go.
So life is pretty damn skippy at the moment, and I refuse to listen to my pessimistic side, which is screaming "it will all come crashing down."
Oh, gomes doesn't like my latest pictures, but I haven't switched them out yet so she'll have to endure a little longer. Sorry gomi.
