I think the AC here hoards itself in my room just to spite me with its frigidity and everyone else by keepin the rest of the house warm.

Wrote two pages and then decided I was finally ready to work on a webpage design that is not boring as fucking hell. Unfortunately I am also going to html all my stories, b/c I don't think the five people that visit my site much care for the fact that my stories are all on lj. FUCKING UGH.

I did some of the basic pages today, none of the links actually work so far but this is the main page.

HTML makes my head hurt.

Oddly enough now I'm really in the mood to write. WTF, Mate?

Nice overall design. Congrats on the html! Err, good luck on htmling all your stories. Oh, the pictures just show up as boxes.

And as a side note, I absolutely love designing layouts and I would be happy to help any way I can. (Ehh, I like it, but most of my knowledge is self-taught, so there are things I don't know)

Yeah, none of the pictures and all are going to show yet - I've got stuff to move around and all first. It won't be up 'til next week at the soonest.

I actually got the basic design from a site that makes them, then just changed the colors and stuff. I'm hopelessly incompetent at this kind of thing. If I get into a tight spot, I may pester you.

There's also a really great program called 1st Page 200 by Evrsoft that is really nice. It allows you to preview your page as you're building it. =D

I just use Microsoft Word, since starting with Word 97, you can save the pages as HTML files & make HTML pages that way. Though I have found they don't always work correctly, so I throw them into Netscape Composer (which comes as part of Netscape communicator, use v4.7x) to make any corrections.
