maderrLife is more or less dull, but hopefully on Monday things will pick up - this woman my sister babysits for has said that they could use help at the hospital, and that if I go see her she'll set me right up. So where was this woman the rest of the summer? No one knows...
In other news, we found some abandoned kittens on the railroad track behind our house the other day - you tell me what sort of sick bastard leaves kittens on a railroad track. At any rate, we found three but one simply wasn't strong enough and it died about 30 minutes or so ago. We'll take the other two to the shelter once they're strong enough (My mother would keep them, I'm sure, but we already have seven cats and three dogs as is. Arghness)
I've also finally purchased the second volume of Fake, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (one of two western comics that I like)D.N.Angel 9, Love Mode 6 & 7, God Child 4, Saiyuki Gaiden and something by Higuri Yu...oh yeah, Lost Angel. I also finally managed to locate this book I've been after for quite some time, for a beautifully cheap price (considering it's usualy around $50.00, I thought $13.14 wasn't half bad)My dad owed me big money, so I decided he could pay me back in vast quantities of reading material, both english and japanese.
I also just downloaded the drama cd's for love mode, so I'll probably spend most of the weekend trying to understand - my listening comprehension still leaves much to be desired. AI ask you, what better way is there to learn Japanese than by listening to stories about guys making out with other guys a la cheesey radio dramas?
