conflicted - kinda-ish

maderrAnother possible job has sprung up, a guy from a cruiseline company called me yesterday. I'm supposed to call him back today and tell him I definitely want to do it, and then we'll set up an interview time and all.
Only problem is that if I get the job, I'll probably start work sometime in September or October, which means I'll miss yaoi con - which wouldn't bother me usually (since it happens every year) except that I've already put down a lot of money for it, and I'm the one that more or less begged by Japanese teacher to come with me.
Plus, I'd have to put grad school off for a whole 'nother year, and I wouldn't be able to apply for JET or AEON.
It's a hard job too - I'd work in the galley, 6:00 - 10:00 every day for about 9 weeks straight, then have a couple of weeks off, then right back to it. On the other hand, the job pays well and the galley is the best paying of the the three. On top of that, I'll get a $500 bonus after three rotations and a $2500 bonus after my fourth rotation.
I'm calling the guy, there's no doubt about that. It just that the timing sucks (I applied for these jobs awhile ago, does it always take them this long to reply?)
