One of these days I'm going to make a note of the watches I pick, then go to a Dakota kiosk and laugh at the mark ups. I think about dumb things like this while I'm working. We have to go through a metal detector to get in/out, so I also amuse myself by devising ways a person could succeed in stealing something. It would actually be pretty hard, b/c of all the cameras. But it's funny to think about, mostly because I imagine all these really goofy scenerios...Anyway. Some of the watches are really snazzy, others make me think "who the fuck in their right mind would wear this?" Others look like a knight misplaced pieces of his armor. What's sad is that the watch I like most is this snazzy HP watch in the kids' section.

I'm starting to garner odd looks. Part of it is that when certain songs play on my discman, I am compelled to enjoy them. Usually in my room I'd be dancing like the huge dork at I am. I tone it down at work, but I still keep getting laughed at XP And I was listening to Chamber of Secrets and kept cracking up. Especially when the twins appeared. And I kept muttering (I always realize I'm doing it too late). I already am noticing things I never noticed before. And I'm particularly interested in Chamber b/c Rowling said that book was more or less the key to everything. And Dobby beating the shit out of himself is amusing, even if that makes me a horrible person.

This post, discovered via [livejournal.com profile] thornsilver, upsets me greatly. As does this one from [livejournal.com profile] jadis31.

I wrote a story for [livejournal.com profile] 4am_slash, but I think I'd like to rewrite it. I liked it well enough going to bed, but I dunno. Thinking back on it now? I'd like to scrap most of it and make it a good story. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't think so.

Sammie reminded me the Opening Ceremonies are Friday! And Saturday is the swimming! Thorpedo!!! I love to watch the swimming in the summer olympics. I miss competitive swimming; gods it was so much fun. I used to do all the freestyle sprint races, and the relays. Man those were fun. The American team this year is apparently going to give the Thorpedo a run for his money. Can't wait! I usually don't care for watching sports beyond hockey. But the Olympics swimmers? Rock my world.

My room is a sty. I'm getting to the ackcan'tbreathemustcleannow stage. So I'll probably do that Saturday, if my lovely Gomes isn't around to distract me (Gomi I miss you!!! *cries*).

I think that's enough rambling for now. Glad it's almost Friday. My weekend schedule so far is: Sleep, clean, sleep, oggle swimmers, sleep, sleep. Maybe throw in "eat" somewhere.

Omigawd, I mutter and laugh and sing to myself at work all the time. Seriously. And I hardly ever notice right away that I'm doing it. Or I'll start talking to the books I'm shelving or something. Like, I'll drop one, and then be like, "I told you that you aren't allowed to fall! and then I'll look over and there'll be some woman with her kid trying to find a book on dinosaurs or something.
It's fun!

Hee. I like knowing I'm not the only one that talks to inanimate objects.

Fic! *bounce* I'll be a little bit free-er this weekend, sort of, if you need someone to bounce ideas off. =D

Hee. I'd wanted to send it to you for beta-ing, but I was trying not to distract you. I've got lots to write this weekend, so I may hit you up on that offer

Bad ki-chan, posting from school. Should't you be doing something constructive?

I think fire is the best method for cleansing that basement.
