Aug. 13th, 2004 07:41 pmI love getting the occasional email from quiet fans (the ones who, like me, just lurk quietly on websites until they can work up the nerve to write something). This however is the oddest email I've ever gotten. No name, no hello, not even a subject line. Just:
I would really like to know how to get the complete stories of Treasure and Unequal Children.
I felt bad having to tell them I didn't have those stories completed. I freakin' wish. Which reminds me - I've started the next chapter of Treasure. Alas, poor Taka. He needs a hug. And I really am hoping this chapter is the Big Showdown I've been plotting forever; I'm in the mood to write Nankyo in Very Pissed Mode. Heh, it's fun to be working on this story agian. I've missed these boys.
Speaking of chars I like and dislike. To Sammie: I love the Moidart to death. The rest of the book can go fuck itself most vigourously. What the fuck was all that? *stabs author cheerfully with a spoon* I'm still seething from that book. I couldn't even really finish it properly - I just fucking skipped to the last 30 pages or so. And men are fucking pansies about love. Cordelia I could have done w/out, because it could not have been more obvious that Mulgrave and Gaise had a thing. "Friend and brother" my ass. WTFever. Long live the Moidart and Gaise Macon. That is all I have to say. Never again will I speak of that stupid fucking book. *stabs author's corpse for good measure*

Erm...well I seriously dislike it when authors maltreat their own characters. I just sound violent, I'm really not that bad -_-;;

Date: 2004-08-13 07:25 pm (UTC)I can not tell you how happy another chapter of Treasure would make me. It is my favorite story of yours... it is one of my favorite stories period. I am more than a little obsessed with it. ((I even included it on my LJ crush meme... I'm not kidding))
Yay!
Love and Ice,

Date: 2004-08-14 04:02 pm (UTC)*dances happily around room* Really?! Cool! I'm not allowed to pick favs, as the writer, since I have to be nice to all my stories. But that one I've always been fond of. It always makes me happy to hear how much people like it. I shall work double time then to write more of it. *glomps*
