maderrWork is still good. I am heartily sick of snooty admin and lawyers looking down their noses at me, but there are enough nice ones (like the lady that totally didn't mind it that I botched her postage metering it today -_-;;) that I think I'll be all right.
The bus people, however, I am going to have to murder. Especially the ignorant woman with a screaming child she refuses to discipline or quiet down by some other means. B/c that's exactly what all of us weary workers want to hear at the end of the day - a wailing, screaming child. And I won't even get into Sketchy and Skank. I should have gone into sociology or anthro - I could do a study of some sort of these people. Except I'd get stabbed or something for asking certain questions.
Speaking of the bus, and work, I heartily hate being the new dumbass on the block. It's more draining than anything - I'm trying to learn, not get lost (ugh, almost did that tonight coming home. way to be brilliant), and the guy I'm replacing feels free to MOCK ME IN FRONT OF PEOPLE when I accidently got out on 19 instead of 18. Not to mention the way he laughs every time I take a wrong turn...he's not doing it to be mean but jeez. I cringe every time I have to shadow him. I much prefer Darren.
And would some man PLEASE explain to me why I'm not allowed to carry anything? The mail cartons are not that heavy. Hello, I have to do this by myself eventually.
On the upside, I have so much free time it's ridiculous. I managed to get a few pages written for two different stories. Now to summon the energy to type them up.
I want ice cream. But it's fucking freezing down here.
