maderrWork was okay. A bit frustrating, but eh. When is everything just as you want it?
The only thing that *really* got to me today was an article I read while on my lunch break, in the Cincinnati Enquirer, titled "Gay Marriage poll a surprise." To quote my (least) favorite part of the article:
Phil Burress, chairman of the Ohio Campaign to Protect Marriage, the Cincinnati based group pushing to get the amendment on the ballot, said he is not concerned the support is below the 70-percent range he had predicted.
Respondent were read the language of the amendment, which Burress describes as "something written by a lawyer."
"Once we get done with the media and people understand we are talking about homosexual and lesbian marriages, I think that will go back up to 70 percent," he said.
Ugh. That's really all I can say right now, unless I want to get into a righteous rant, which I'm just too tired to do right now. Just Ugh. Sometimes I just want people to go far, far away.
