Aug. 31st, 2004 09:50 pmDon't get me wrong, I really do love my new job. It's easy, I'm starting to get along with most of the people, the lawyers are mostly ignorable, the tasks are repetitive but not mindless.
But this getting home at nine-something every night is depressing, I hope I get used to it soon. I wrote a little bit at work, but not much b/c I'm interrupted often and it's hard to leave those sorts of stories just sitting there >_< And now that we're working hardcore at cleaning Arrow...I calculated all the stuff I have to write up today, roughly. My estimate is that by yaoi-con, I need to have written about 700 pages of stuff. Of course, a lot of that is erring on the side of caution, and I don't have to do all of it...but I have an awesome surprise in mind for Christmas and I'll be heartbroken if I don't have it finished. Plus the 12 Days, and a bunch of other stuff. And no time, because I leave early, get home late, and it seems like there's always somewhere to be on the weekends.
Probably shouldn't write when I'm tired and hungry and crabby and still wet from my shower. But writing usually cheers me up, so oh well.
Now to get dressed and go find food.

Date: 2004-08-31 07:07 pm (UTC)I love writing, that's the most frustrating part. I would *kill* to have the time to write - especially all the stuff we were talking about. I'm choking on not being able to.
Actually, what my lazy ass needs to do is stop bitching about the cold and just get itself the hell up at 6:00 am instead of sleeping in 'til 7-8.
