I might see it, or rent it. I never have very high expectation for horror movies. They rely upon the "boo" or gore factor too much, and that rarely sticks to me. A good book or game can frighten me more, for there is nothing like one's own imagination to terrify. But I digress. I rented the first RE on a whim, and although it was blah, once scene stuck in my head: the part where the good guys were sliced and diced by that razor into cubes.
Horror movies are, to me, little more than violent comedies. The first RE movie is good only for the .21 seconds at the end where they tell you someting about Tyrant, and that only if you're into the games. But I do like Oded Fehr, and the character he's portraying is an interesting one. The chicks I could do w/out, though Jill Valentine was always not half bad. I do wish they'd remember there are *men* in the game though.
