So.

I am not racist, prejudiced, whatever. But I was mightly pissed this morning when I saw a black guy in full gangsta' dress wearing a t-shirt that said "Real Nigga" on the back. Argh. Not worth it to rant, suddenly. But that made me mad.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] skylark97 has requested I post the story I recently wrote for her. So once I get home tonight, I shall have The Knight and the Dragon for all of you.

*this is the perfect time to use my nifty new icon*

Why again am I supposed to see them as getting the short end of the stick in society? It might do everyone a lot of good if they got rid of the people making them look really bad. (This would work for every lot in life, if we could just figure out how to hide that many bodies . . .)

I look at these people everyday on the bus and around the city, and everyday what little sympathy I once had trickles away. Sure, some of them have gotten screwed in life...but most of them I feel screwed themselves, and abuse the system et al.

I'll start looking for burial sights and let you know what I find.

And I do like that icon.

Sadly that's probably wise.. Although you should be safe... the city government is so worried it's going to offend somebody that it's become ineffective..

I mean, I understand that when you're born in a hole that looks suspiciously like a grave, it's hard to climb out of it. The problem lies in believing you are stuck in the hole and refusing to do anything more productive than whine, whine, whine. What we have are people who would rather place the blame on society and something that happened a hundred and fifty years in the past. When someone does say, "Shut up and get up," they point and scream bloody murder. I have a lot of respect for Bill Cosby, but a lot of disdain for Al Sharpton.

(This is such a fabulous icon! =D)
