maderr | Tra la la la la

Spent four hours at work yesterday, man was that boring. An hour and a half to sort mail, two and a half hours of nothing. I, however, am enterprising (sometimes), and spent those two and a half hours (okay, okay, one hour of it. I was reading a really good book the rest of the time) writing Treasure. I'm nearly done with the next chapter, just need to finish up a few more pages and send it off for editing. I may wait though, until I have chapter fourteen completed, so that I can finish off part two for y'all is one go.

Also spent a good chunk of time cleaning up arrow. The living room is nearly done, as well as S' room. A bunch of stuff is going up on freecycle, and then we need only to finish the dining room and kitchen and we'll be ready to paint, carpet, and move in. w00t!

I think I'm signed up for nanowrimo - it doesn't actually seem to have a place to say "yes I'm this insane" but I logged in and all that so I guess I'm in it? Actually my sekkret plan is to write 100,000 rather than 50,000, hopefully to edit extensively after its done and submit it somewhere. But we'll see if the story is good enough for that. Of course this means that A) I have to write a more detailed outline than I am generally wont to do, 3) I need to finish all my christmas storie yesterday, X) I need to make sure I do nothing else in November. I'll also be in San Fran when it starts, just like last year, which means, also like last year, I' ll be a bit late getting started. Which sucketh mucheth, but c'est la vie.

All right, back to work on the stuff for jagen and also Treasure. And a crapload of other stories that I owe people but never get around to somehow. I am a horrible slacker, and people are nice enough to let me get away with it.
