maderrA forum on the nanowrimo site is discussing what's been done in fantasy. The general consensus is that everything vampire has been done - there's no new/creative way to do them.
I think I should get a few honorable mention points for Embrace, but maybe I'm biased. And of course I'll now be obligated to work on that, just to prove the forum wrong.
