Bad and Good and Bad

Bad: I've just discovered today that there's a mall about a block away from where I work. I went there thinking, from what people have told me, that it was a snooty, full of overpriced stores kind of mall.

It has a bookstore.

I am now very poor. >_> I just can't help myself.


Good: I was paranoid that, because I took so long to write it, Takuma didn't want my Weiss story any longer. That and she wasn't replyling, and in my ridiculous paranoia was afraid I'd been written off.

Turns out she was just having internet problems. And! And! She's asked if I wanted my story to be put in the next (or the one after that, not sure) volume of Fanmix as a novel! And she's going to get someone to do a cover and stuff for it!!!

Bad: Must get back to work now. My lovely new books are calling my name but the boss and his boss are in today so I must resist the lure.

I agree, I always find it a good idea to spend money when I don't have it to spend. Makes the next week a better challenge to make ends meet. But then I love a challenge.

haha! the evil draws of bookstores. its a horrible addiction. i know, i suffer from it as well. other retailers would do well to bottle up that i need to read from the freshly pressed pages of literature now scent. ^________^

It's always good to know I'm not the only one who seems to have a fatal addiction to the written word.
