Um, not to be a complete ass here but I thought we were saving for grad school in one year.... I won't go into the details but I see this as more of an addition to the "screwing ourself financially" pile.

First step is the credit cards - b/c I can't go anywhere without having those paid off. By the end of november I'll have one paid off, my dad is handling two others that should be done by Jan or Feb. I lose 1200 bucks a month paying the fucker off, which means there isn't anything to save right now. And after yaoi-con, I'm done spending for anything b/c yeah, I am supposed to be saving. And seriously, two hundred dollars is not going to make or break me, and that's about all I'll have total.

Don't worry, I wouldn't screw myself over to the point of not being able to go to school.

Aww... so close yet so far *laugh* I actually live in San Jose and was going to go to Yaoi-Con but was sent out of town to my client... could have flown back but considering that I'd have been able to get an all-exenses paid weekend vacation on company expense, I decided to stick with the trip instead *hee* but yeah... have fun and let me know how it went.
