maderrAm reading The Outstreteched Shadow by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory. You will get a full report when I'm finished, but this one thing is annoying the fuck out of me.
I hate the "poor humans with their short, short lives" especialy when it's an elf saying it.
Obviously someone will have to write a story where the humans are not the weak, stupid, gullible, short-lived Morons that All Good Fantasy Novels insist they are.
