College, freshmen year, winter break
Oct. 27th, 2004 01:17 pm"It's snowing."
"You say that like it's a bad thing, 'Bastion."
Sebastion glared over the edge of the afghan he was doing his best to become one with. "It is a bad thing."
"You're just being a baby," Klause grinned as he turned away from the window. "Too cold for you?"
"No," Bastion replied icily. "I like the cold fine. It's the wet I have an issue with. Hot and wet is good. Cold and wet is bad."
Klause snickered.
"Oh, shut up. If you want to go play outside, go find Reg. I'm sure he's already making plans for a snowfort."
Instead, Klause moved to the couch where Sebastion was hiding underneath his blanket and dropped down on top of him. Almost immediately he had to scramble to hang on for dear life as Sebastian bucked and squirmed to knock him off.
Klause fell to the floor with an 'oof' and a hard thump - dragging Sebastian's blanket with him.
His boyfriend howled in outrage, glaring down at him over the edge of the couch as he fought to get his blanket back. "Give. It. Back."
For answer Klause rolled away and clambered to his feet laughing before dashing off through the cabin the four of them had rented for their winter break.
He was tackled halfway down the hall, "Ouch! Watch it, this floor is hardwood."
"So's your head, so it'll survive just fine!" Sebastion pinned him to the floor. "Are you quite finished being annoying now?"
"No." Klause grinned. "I'll just start again the moment you're dumb enough to release me until you agree to go play outside with me."
Sebastion sighed and let him go, climbing to his feet and none too gentely helping Klause up. "Fine - but after I get cold and wet," he glared, "You had better dry me off and warm me up."
"Well, duh." Klause grinned and took his hand, dragging him to the front hall. "That's the best damn part."
Unseen Sebastion rolled his eyes, "Then why can't we just skip the snow and go straight to that part?"

Date: 2004-10-27 11:33 am (UTC)Clearly I'm not up to par.
Please, I wouldn't actually do it. If you weren't here to mock my writing I might start to get arrogant. Someone has to keep me in line.

Date: 2004-10-27 02:36 pm (UTC)I love Bastian. He's always so snarky and yummy. <<<333!! And I love the way that Klause isn't concerned with the snarkiness at all. (Plus, the whole sit on him while he's whining? Priceless!! *glomps you* I love it! :3)
You rock. Thanks for making my grey day so, so much better. ^-^

Date: 2004-10-27 03:45 pm (UTC)*wince* Ya know - I kept looking at it all day and I couldnt' figure out what was wrong. It's b/c there's a guy here I deal with often named Bastian and he's totally butchered the way I used to "see" Bastion in my head.

Date: 2004-10-28 12:30 am (UTC)Plus, it's quite pointless for both of us to spot the same things... The idea of having several beta-readers is to catch ALL the mistakes, right? ^^;;
Don't feel too bad. <3
