maderrI'm just blowing steam, so unless you really want to for some perverse reason, I'd read something more cheerful.
I love my father to death, don't get me wrong. He did just allow me to blow fifty bucks for no good reason, and he does far more important, lesss material things for me. This must seem unkind in the face of my previous posting, but as my friend ang says, sometimes you just need to rant.
When I finally get my first paycheck, working at a job that I loathe, hate, and despise with a black, bitter, burning passion the last thing I want or need from my goddamned father is "congradulations sweetheart."
What? I've never earned a fucking paycheck before? I've never worked for my money while trying to handle two majors? I'm so incompetent I need his stupids words? Not to mention that when I fixed dessert tonight, his "wow, this is really good" had that "you never make anything good" tone, nevermind that despite wisecracks made my various and sundry friends, I am a good cook.
And there's plenty more to bitch about, but like I said, it seems unfair when he really is a good guy over all. BUT DO NOT PATRONIZE ME! I react violently and immediately to such behavior, no matter who you be.
Hate and discontent. I want out of here.
