*falls down dead*
Dec. 13th, 2004 06:45 pmWow what a Monday. I think that's the busiest I've ever been. Because of my bus schedule, I typically get in a hlaf hour or so early, and just goof off until eleven if there's no reason for me to start early.
Well there were plenty of reasons today. Started out labeling and stuffing envelopes (stupid chapter eleven), and no sooner had begun that then voluteered to help the runners because they're short handed today. Wound up helping them again in the afternoon, and actually got to go somewhere other than across the street. It was fun, and I actually felt productive for once. I wish they needed my help more often.
Also had to do the usual sweeps, and then had to haul boxes from one floor to another and help B with something this evening - his stupid fax won't go through so he's probably going to come in here fretting tomorrow morning (and how aggravating is it that they give me something, saying "could you help me?" and then go home while I'm working on it >_< Not very nice.)
If S and I aren't at jungle jim's too long, I can hopefully get a bit more writing done before bed. And if not, I'll just be waking up really early again tomorrow morning. Have stories due on the 18th and 21st, after that I can work on my one plan for xmas, and come Jan I'll be working like a psycho fiend for the open call thing. Thoug how I'll finish it is anyone's guess -_- And then starting in March, my plan is to knock out one series and at least one or two short stories a month, so that I'm all caught up and can finally chill - and then promptly get overwhelmed by a bunch of new stuff.
One would think I'd learn. But where's the fun in that?
