I think S mentioned it briefly, but our fridge broke the other day. All our lovely groceries are in coolers right now. I had to call in sick to wait for Lowe's to arrive with the new fridge - unfortunately they still haven't called to say they'll be here between so and so times. -_-;;

But I have the morning and afternoon to write and tidy the kitchen, and maybe this afternoon we'll go to Kenwood (badass shopping center).

Miscellaneous ramblings

You guys rock. I like that no one on my flist hesitates to point an error out, be it related to grammar, content or whatever. The corrections are always made - even if sometimes I'm too lazy to make them on LJ I put them in my master copy. So thank you.

On that note, may have to rehaul Eyes a fuckload a bit. Clearly some things I tried aren't working out; perhaps it would be easier if I included Tybalt's POV, though I had wanted to stick to Sully's for various and sundry reasons. We shall see.

Half of chapter eighteen of Treasure was written today. Barring unforseen problems, I hope to have it done by week's end. Especially as my weekend is booked solid ^_~

What else was I going to say? Oh, yeah. Got my mitts on the first VHD novel. Reads like a fanfic, but is hideously addictive in that way only bad fiction can really be. Though I'l give the book this - the chicks were a fuckload cooler than in the first movie (and would someone explain to me the random changing of hair color?). Mostly the translation is stiff; hopefully it'll loosen up as they continue translating them. Anyway, I'll pay for the Yoshitaka art for now (that man owns a piece of my soul and doesn't even realize).

Bought the Attack on Precinct 13 dvd b/c it was cheap at FYE. Did I manage to beat Tony to it? Probably not. After a second viewing, I maintain the slash potential b/t Cop and Crook most definitely exists.

Had something else to say, but it's slipped my mind.

Dad, your pie tastes just fine and yummy. And the rice krispies treats will not last another day.
