working on prisoner

I have a bad habit of jotting down story bits that come to me (be it dialogue, a scene, explanations for things, character synop, et) in whichever notebook I have nearest to hand. Currently I have...six notebooks, three of which are on me wherever I go (this is why Megan will never carry a small purse). This, of course, means that one story is often scattered between 2-6 notebokos.

Sat down this morning while I should have been working and consolidated my Prisoner notes. O_o wow I wrote lot more than I'd realized.

Right now it's roughly divided into two parts of 15 chapters each. I would like to see if I could make it 20-30 chapters each, but this is nanowrimo and I only have time to write so much. Plus, I hate fantasy stories that carry on forever and a day. A pleasant surprise, and you'd think I'd remember writing all this, was finding I'd either written out (very roughly) or sketched the four biggest scenes in the story. Given how annoying two of them are going to be, given the way they have to overlap and coordinate, I am pleased I have the roughs done.

Now I just need the middle bits. And for Esta to stop being so damned bitchy.

Speaking of Prisoner, I won't be posting it like I've posted my other nanostories. I may post snippets from time to time, but if I'm going to delude myself into thinking its worth publishing try to get it published, I probably shouldn't be putting it online, ever under locks. We'll see. I'm not very good at keeping my own secrets.

skylark97, don't you have a post where you keep a list of names? I collect lots working at law firms, I thought you might like some of these (and the rest you can laugh at with me XD)
