sleepy sleepy
Sep. 16th, 2003 05:00 pmI can't really complain, nearly me entire schedule this week is day shifts. With minor exception, these day shifts constitute making the pizza dough for the next day (needs 24 hours to rise/set/etc.) and making the very few orders that come through during the day. Easy stuff.
My complaints come in with the rare exception - namely tomorrow. Normally it would be fine, but this week I have to work from 8-2 with a person I have conflicted feelings for, in that she can be really sweet at time, but she's also the bosses daughter and knows it. Usually she works at a different LC store, but her mother (the head manager) can't handle the big school order tomorrow, so the daughter and I have to. I hate working with lazy, whiny, hypocrites that have occasional moments of honest kindness, especially when she professes that I am "the only one that really understand me, listens to me, is a real friend."
::bangs head against wall::
On to stuff people care about: Treasure 4 is nearly finished, though it will need to sit a couple of days and then receive heavy editing. After I finish that, I'll probably move on to Rainbow, as the next chapter is finally settling in my head. If I don't lose my will to live tomorrow, I may even be able to continue more with Treasure, as well as actually work on two stories that have yet to be updated (I swear I'll finish my stories one day, really).
I'm talking too much, I'll stop now.

Date: 2003-09-17 12:27 am (UTC)I hope the shift tomorrow doesn't go too rotten. Sometimes, I just don't get some people. You think that when you go to work, you'd do, oh say, *work*. It's a revolutionary idea that I keep waiting for people to catch on to. Here's to hoping someone, whether it be god or her mother, lights a match under your coworker's bumfor you. ^-^;;

It seems a simple concept, but somehow people never quite get it. oh well, we can keep hoping I guess.

You've totally made my day. I still don't think I've earned all this praise, but it really makes me happy. ::hugs:: You really are the best.
Where did you find my icon?

Date: 2003-09-17 03:23 am (UTC)gomes, your post totally confused me at first. I had to read the whole thread before I realized you meant skylark's cow icon.
