Computer being pissy. So is word. Has suddenly decided that "megan" saved Kidnapped in read only mode and so will not let me change my own damn story.

On the upside, think I am finally sorting shit out in my head. So despite the fact that I'm once again three or four chapters behind, I believe I at least have some chance of catching up and finishing the story.

Thank the gods for four days weekends. Am going to go to bed and write out the chapters, for to type tomorrow when hopefully my computer will stop being a bitchtastic tool of satan.

Er.. can't you just change it through the Properties thing? I've had to do that before.

See, that's the weirdest part (b/c I'm incompetent with comps, but not that bad) - I go into properties and change things. Aaaaand it doesn't work, because then you go back in and it looks like I didn't change anything at all.

Yeah, I discovered all the files I saved before going up to Big Dick are read only. It makes opening them and reworking them somewhat difficult.

On the upside, Brother will not claim the comp tonight. So...

Off to find something to translate.

You should be able to copy the screen in read only mode... and as for who saved it... *giggle* Are you sure it wasn't Meghan?
