Whose bright idea was it to cut back on the caffeine?

Oh, right. Mine. Dude, my head feels like its being torn apart. 'Course I knew that's what I was in for. I'm not nixing all caff, but I do feel I should be drinking less of it. I just really wish the headaches would hurry up and go away.

Want to write. Am dying to write. Have no time. Also, want to play Chain of Memories. These two wants cannot be reconciled.

Aaaand now I have to work 'til five on Friday (FBT closes at noon for New Year's. Ikon is supposed to have the whole day off. We were working until 2 or 3 b/c FBT asked us to. Now they want us to work 'til five. They say it's b/c we *might* need to go pick up a check - but it's perfectly fucking obvious to all and sundry that this is just a power play. They're just reminding us Ikon'ers of our place. Asshats)

Gomes - if you're still acknowledged my existence. Would it be better to call you Saturday or Sunday? And I'm assuming your home number is still the same as ever.

A good way to cut back is to 'take' it 'medicinally.' In other words, pick a set amount of caffeine -- a can of soda, a cup of coffee or tea, an Excedrin or NoDoz, etc. -- and only consume that when your head hurts. It will spread out eventually, until you're only drinking/eating it every few days. And if you keep those amounts in mind, you should be able to have a little at will anytime so long as you don't exceed certain amounts. That usually works for me anyway.
