well, it seems my plans for going to europe are slowly starting to solidify. I may actually see this happen.

I can't buy my ticket yet, b/c apparently my credit card doesn't have as much money on it as I had originally believed it to.

But I should have enough by the time I get back from yaoi con. Hopefully the ticket won't cost much more than I was seeing tonight. but we'll see.

back to writing...speaking of which, one of my articles for aestheticism.com is written, but it needs serious editing if anyone would like to take a look at if for me. I don't think I'm allowed to just post it, otherwise I would. Peace.

GET THE FUCK OUT. Spending three months in the house with my mother 24/7 was enought to make me go COMPLETELY INSANE. It's an important thing to do is to get out of your parents control and whatnot. Mike almost stabbed his parents this summer, so it's good times. Don't listen to them when they're like, "You could pay off your loans in a year if you lived at home." NEVER!!! NEXT SUMMER I AM GONE!!! PACK UP THE U-HAUL AND HEAD OUT. Even if you have to live in some one room efficiency shithole dive, at least you can assert your independence and keep control of yourself AND retain your sanity.

I know Europe will be a great place for you to start asserting some of your independence. Please, if I can live alone and manage to figure out that "Yes, I need to turn on the stove and not stare at the water for 20 minutes wondering why it's not boiling" EVERYONE CAN DO IT!!! :)

There just comes a time when you say, "Enough. I am 22 years old, I have a college degree, I have goals, I have dreams, and I want a life that does overlap with my parents."
