I hate small towns

maderrWork today: about and 8/10 on the suck scale. Really not worth mentioning, accept I'm seething about this one Stupid Bitch (hereafter referred to as S.B) that is part of the Debacle that constitute our drivers.
Anyway, the Owner Bossman is moving. He's building a house, cool, fine, whatever. He gives the contractors free lunch, and they called up today. Typical "The rich guy is treating us and we know it" rudeness. What I expected, what I got, fine, done.
Until later, when I overhear the very end of a conversation b/t S.B. and another worker, whom we jokingly call "man whore," (he's a really cool guy, when he and "chicken man" work, all I do is laugh. except today).
I digress. I caught the end of the convo,which seemed to be about the contractors and said, "yeah, the guy (contractor) I spoke to was really rude. no surprise there."
S.B. says "See, Meg thinks the same thing." Keep in mind this woman is bossy, aggressive, talks about no one/nothing that doesn't somehow involve her or her (loudly given) opinion. I never liked her to begin with. I despise lazy people who try to act like they're busy and think they know everything and try to tell me how to do a job that the Owner says I do execptionally.
Back on track. I, not trusting her, ask "think what the same?"
S.B. in a rather unpleasnt small minded tone "He's fruity."
Me: "All I said was that he was rude."
S.B.: "Oh, well I thought he sounded, you know..."
Me: (thinking) I will not beat the shit out of you, I will not beat the shit out of you... I just turned back to ovens - I think the entire store got it that I didn't like her comments.
Suffice to say my fierce dislike of this woman has turned into utter hatred. Generally I am polite, even to people I don't like, because it's not worth it to me to antagonize people. Live and let live and all that. But I don't even try to be polite to this woman any more. Honestly, after I kill the sleaze Jeremie for hitting on me constantly (and trying to touch me - honestly, he thinks he's sly), she's next. She may go first if she makes another comment like that.

Who needs to put up with that shit? The fact of the matter is though, is when you're working in that kind of environment you have to tolerate people who are mental midgets. (See again, Yissania the Dominican with the Largest Ass in the Continental United States and "I have an Associates Degree" bitch boss from the same office.)
Just remember that you're far superior to them and when you're a tenured professor back at Big Dick, she'll be pushing her walker and her pizza up to the front door of some "fruity" person's house.

Derr, you live in the exact same place I do... we just happen to be about 350 miles apart, that's all.
Honestly... but how old is S.B.? The majority of the previous generation just cannot stomach "fruity" people unless they themselves are. Only the educated ones really do... because rarely are the educated religious, so there's no conflict there... blah blah blah. We know this... Get out... get out at soon as you can.
