I am trying to find at least the first few Hardy Boys books for way cheap. I promised someone a brotherslash fic but I don't want to write it without at least reading some of the books...because the only ones I read growing up were the one where the dad died, then where the girlfriend died, and their combined adventures with good old Nancy.

Any ideas where I can get them cheap? I would like at least the first five, though I'd prefer the first dozen or so...

Their dad died?

When did this happen?

!! OMG! YOU SPOILER YOU!

Huh, see's how far out of the loop I've been... I think you can get them cheap at a used book store.

I was informed by someone that the story I read was one of the weird books that really don't fit with the main storyline. It was a "Hardy Boys Casefile" or something, if I recall correctly. I dunno. I pretend it didn't happen, because between him blowing up and the elephant that was chopped to pieces I really didn't much care for the damn book.

Oops. Spoiling stuff again. Sorry?

Dunno. I seem to recall something like the Hardy Boys Casefile, but I never read the book once someone dropped it into the bathwater and it molded over. But then, the Hardy Boys never really did have much of a plot continuum timeline, did they?

You can always try Half-Price Books. There's a few of them around the area. (Tri-county, Northgate, Kenwood, Mason) They usually have Hardy Boys books.

There were some Hardy Boys books on the bookshelves at your house. They must be in the garage here by now. We can look this weekend.

The obvious solution. I wonder if I could make it to the Cinci library for lunch today? It's all the way down on seventh though...

Either that or you might look at online auctions. Or online synopses? Synopsises?
