This week is going to suck, I can see it now.

Becaue not only did I not sleep at all, I got two happy letters in the mail yesterday that have me feeling sick to my stomach.

One of from general revenue, about a student loan (12,00+) that somehow has escaped my attention until now and for some unknown reason was not consolidated with the rest of my loans.

And the second was a letter from a lawfirm asking if I need their assistance. Because apparently Columbia Credit Services has filed a lawsuit against me. How fucking lovely. I'm not sure what pisses me off more - that the service is filing a lawsuit or that I'm the last to fucking know.

Why does it feel like I never catch a break?

Aw sweeheart! Can' the missed loan be appended in with the others? And why would anyone sue you? It sounds trite and cliche but don't worry, I'm sure something can be worked out. I can't offer any sound advice (my own credit being so-so from my wild and wreckless youth) but I can offer moral support. Hang in there!

I did email Salliemae to see if they can add the loan in, and I'll try to call the other place when I get home tonight.

They're suing me because I can't pay them everything at once. I had started to pay, and then this other company came in and demanded I pay them like 500+ every month so I have no money left for my other loans. I'm a wreck, I know it, but none of these places will give me a chance to get on my feet. Blargh, sorry to ramble. Thanks for the support, it means a lot to me.

You know that's what this thing is about, rambling, being able to talk to other people, don't apologize for rambling. Well that company sounds pretty shitty, if they do manage to take you to court I'm sure with your other obligations that something amiable can be worked out. I hate going to court (I have twice, both times sucked, but came out ok). Keep us updated

Heh, very true. I just worry I'll get to the point where I whine but not much else.

Well, at least I'm familiar enough with the courts these days that I won't be too intimidated. I was always kind of hoping I would never be there for personal pleasure, heh, but oh well. And yeah, I'm such a mess I'm sure they'll be willing to work something out with me *crosses fingers* You give me hope *hugs*

Okay, I echo the previous sentiment that if they really wanted their money, they would find a way to work with you. They are missing out on a fabuluous money-making opportunity... just to work with you at a high-ass interest rate, but that would help you preserve your credit. Fuckin' morons. They don't care, either, that you have multiple other shit going at the same time... you would think they've never had debt issues. Oh, wait, they haven't because only the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. UGH. You have my emotional support, even if that's no help for the monetary woes.
