I love Heat Guy J.

That's really all there is to it. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I like that they didn't kill Shun. Death, to me, is too easy an out for most storytellers. But I've ranted that before so I won't start now.

As much as I love Kyoko, the romance b/t her and Daisuke is purely obligatory. I refuse to acknowledge it. Especially as he's clearly closer to Kai and Clair.

Edmundo is mad cute for a scruffy cop. AHAHAHAHAHAHA he cracks me up.

Dais seemed so obviously gay to me in the first few episodes. I was really surprised when the romance kicked in. I mean, come on. Look at his hips. And his jacket. And his HAIR. And what kind of normally functioning boy with hormones would turn down those hookery girls so many times? Everybody needs to get laid once in a while, and I didn't see anybody else offering. So, you know, I just assumed he was gay...

Clair was the obvious pairing choice, I thought. I like rival stories, and that lip ring is just yum on him. *coughs* And I like girly guys. So what?

Haha. I'm glad you mentioned Heat Guy J in an earlier post, or I probably never would have watched it. My friend said she bought it for me because it was like... 3 DVDs for $20, so if it was even remotely good, it was a bargain. And that didn't sound very reassuring... >> I was planning on returning it and buying the next Full Metal Alchemist DVD or Get Backers, but... nope. Then you posted, and I watched it, and WOW. Thank you.

This is a really long comment. O.o

^_^ Yay! Another fan! Glad I could addict you!

Clair definitely is the first choice - but Kai is so pretty...he and Dai seem to have some quiet, mellow thing going on.

And my love of obscure pairings makes me wonder what Clair and Kai would do while Daisuke is on his little journey.

I totally agree with the romance. I *knew* they were going to do it and it just annoyed me. I mean, yeah they're a cute couple, but must we be that freakin' predictable? Why must every hero have a pretty girl by the end of the series?

Personally, in my little HGJ bunnies that are hopping about, the size of golfballs, Shun gets drafted to serve the city for the rest of his life. (Is that how it ends? I forget if they say what he has to go do...) It's basically he gets to do what he's best at, which is organizing and making things run smoothly, but he's got handlers, and he has no real power to DO anything, just to suggest it, and then someone else looks over it and implements it.

And yeah, Daisuke struck me as so not into women... Wasn't sure if he was into guys either, but still....

And Clair...yeah...<3 My favorite scene is still where Clair wakes up. That he sees the danger and runs TOWARDS it so he can get Giobanni's guns that he KNOWS WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT ARE THERE and then just about empties the clips....:sighs: And him going to get Mauro... :holds back her gibbering Clair fangirl instincts: ^___^

Man, if I started fangirling Clair as much as I want we'd be here all month...that part where he wakes up SO COOL. I was cackling in mad glee, because hell yeah he knew where the guns were and just went to town. Just GAH. Stopping now, before I really get started.

^______^ I was fascinated because i thought that Clair was the one who changed and grew the most through the whole series. He's still a bit of a brat, but he's just...grown some. ^__^
