Time for a babble break
May. 1st, 2005 11:07 amSo Charlie and Don still totally own me. And Larry is utterly adorable in his own right. There's so much to squee, I don't know where to start. I did like the utter coldness of the formula the one guy was working on, that someone would think up such a thing. Kind of reminds me of books like 1984 and all. And poor Charlie, doing the angst-bunny thing when the killer went off on his little angry speech. And I still want to write a couple of ficbits. Maybe if I can reach the halfway point on my snailmail porn story.It's funny, the list requires a minimum of 1500 words...I've already doubled that and I'm looking to at least quadruple it...probably a lot more than that. I fail utterly when it comes to short stories.
Hopefully the recipient likes it. And after she gets it, I'll post it here with her permission. So far I'm really quite pleased with it. ^_^
Was reading a Mary Higgins Clark book yesterday, when I needed a break from writing. So decided to kick back on our new loveseat while Sarah watched TV. Periodically watched it, because she was on a documentary kick yesterday.
Watched one on stonehenge. To paraphrase what the guy said about it: "We know it was religious because it serves no practical purpose whatsoever."
I'm dead serious. That's exactly what he said, minus a few extraneous words. Sarah and I about fell off the couches laughing.
One Piece was on cartoon network. Waited all freakin' day to watch it...and then gave up after literally a minute because the dubbing and translation were both that godawful. Was very disappointed, because I love One Piece. Ah, well.
Am considering making another pot of coffee. Probably not a good idea, but it's Sunday and I have no other plans but to write and force Sarah to make me pancakes when she wakes up. So more coffee it is. After I put on something with long sleeves, because it's fracking cold in here.

Of course, all that reminds me that I need to get cracking on mine too...

*snerk* Gotta love Stonehedge.

I tried sitting down to watch it once, but the intro made my head implode with it's godawful quasi rap crap. (Like, what the hell is that?!?! Whoever did the orginal opening theme for that show is probably cursing corporate American rat bastards everywhere for being uncultured swine...) That, and when I hear digimon voices in new shows, it creeps me out so I stopped watching...I can't watch the Shaman King either for the same reason...O_o;;
Am considering making another pot of coffee.
Hmmmm...coffee...^_^ I like that idea. *scrambles off to find coffee since the 50 degree weather just isn't doing that whole warm and fuzzy spring thing for me*
Wood Henge!
Date: 2005-05-01 06:44 pm (UTC)In other news, I happened upon Adult Swim to catch the very end of an episode of FMA, and realized, a) that probably wasn't an ep I wanted to see, and 3) I should probably pick it bakc up and start watching it so I could better know what the fuck happened.
But it was very sad either way.
