I'm pretty proud. I mean Rainbow was one thing, but Treasure is quite another. i guess that's why I'm being so dramatic - I'm on a total high from it. I don't think I ever thought I'd actually finish it.
And yeah, oye. Four more books. But hey, first series is a needlessly long one - if anything says I'm a real fantasy writer, that does.
I just knew that it would be Takara doing the dying. But I almost had a heart attack when Kin broke his neck!
This was a beautiful, beautiful story, Maderr. Thank you for indulging us and finishing it! I feel like I need to open a bottle of champagne or something.
Hi! I haven't come across your fiction before, but when ponderosa121 posted the art commissioned for your story (Treasure), I was really intrigued. I went to go read your story and was furtively reading it at my desk at work all day long instead of doing stuff that needed doing!!! Your fic has a wonderful and interesting plot, and character development that has been sorely lacking in stuff I've read recently. Thank you ♥ for writing it!
I got up to chapter 16 on your site, but then the "next" link at the bottom of the page does not link to chapter 17 and I thought that was all you had up for now (and it stops at a horrible, horrible place!). I checked your site today and noticed that chapter 17 *is* up, so I am off to read it right now, but I wanted to let you know about that link. (Then I saw this post and can't wait to not do any work at all finish it today. =D
^_^ Sorry to keep you from your work? But I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^ Pondy's art blew me away, I think if I hadn't already written the story it would have intimidated me!
Eep! Thanks for letting me know. I'll fix it this weekend, when I do a bajillion other things to the site.
::breaks out the booze:: there must be a celebration!
damn. it was one hell of an ending. Kin? wow. and everything left me feeling like i just finished a Really Really good book. you are so amazing. must add to the memories. ::huggles::
Yeah? Thanks ^_^ Endings are hardest for me because I've read so many books where the endings fall flat and I dread doing that (not that it would ever get by my betas...) I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^ High praise indeed coming from another awesome writer.
