And bought a new desk >_>;;

But in my defense (I'll show pics once we retake the study ones ^^;) my current desk is itty bitty and I always have to go elsewhere to physically write and all (not, Nancy, that I still don't love you to death, forever and a day for the room you made for me. You have no idea how much that helped me settle in). And this desk was marked down to $153.00. It's awesome and it gives me so much space ^_^

So yeah. A desk, a new d drive and a wireless keyboard (ergonomic!)/mouse. But, I don't feel too bad. I've worked hard for them, all were really cheap, and it's stuff I'll make full use of*


On a sidenote: Three shots of Tequila and doing fine. Could probably do 4/5 no problem. Yes I know I'm pathetic. Give me my simple pleasure in life. These shot *totally* inspired by a seriously hot story in Naughty, a Torquere Press anthology. Of all their anthologies, this one is by far the best.

Poke me later I'll rec more of the stories there. I buy enough of them, the least I can do is get around to pimping the ones I like.

*assuming I can put this desk together -_-;; Times like this I wish I had a father or brother handy to abuse, b/c as tomboyish as I am, I'm so not guy enough to manage this desk w/out undue frustration. Ah well, small price to pay for having it ^_^

Ohemgee I'll come over and put the desk together for you. I love doing that kind of stuff. Everytime we would buy a new cabinet or table or desk or whathaveyou my parents would just dump it on me and I would get some tools and sit down be so completely happy.

I love putting stuff together, but dude O_o this desk has so many pieces. I've never done anything quite this intricate. I'm excited and intimidated all at once. But I just accounted for al the pieces, so that's a start.

A good idea is to start with the single shots - I've read all but like three and I didn't hate any of them. They let you get a good idea of what the authors are like, and they're only two bucks each so you can't go wrong really (and if you want, I own nearly everything in the catalogue so if you want a couple to look over, lemme know and I'll send them to you).

And over the years I've become a master at assembling furniture from a box. Hell, someone else was talking about how they couldn't get something together because the box didn't contain an allen wrench and I not only had a spare lying around, I had different sizes for them to choose from.
