Had problems with adding memory to mine. The place where I bought the memory pulled varieties of the same memory off their shelf and tested which one my machine would work best with. Trial and error just plugging them in. I left with a working system. Feel your pain. Hands you asprin and a soft soft pillow. Luck.
Slides in a pillow and a few brownies on the desk* (The pillow should cushion your headesks and the Brownies? Well, brownies always make me feel better no matter what is wrong! Especially if they are warm from the oven, filled with nuts and have a bit of ice cream to go with them! ^.^)
