So today I'm explaining my plans for Europe to some of my fellow coworkers, and when asked if I'm going to Italy I reply "Hell yes. My sister and I want to see the Last Judgement." They didn't know what it was, and I tried to explain.

"It's a painting in the Sistene (sp???) Chapel. Way cooler than the damned ceiling, but everyone only knows about the ceiling so they ignore the kickass painting in the back. So Sammie and I only really want to go to Italy to see that, b/c it kicks ass. The only way we wouldn't is if the bishop died. No, wait - the Cardinal. Godammit it! Whatever the fuck that guy is called. Oh - the Pope. That's what he's called."

Suffice to say I'm an idiot going straight to hell via the express lane. The one guy doing sheet-outs was laughing so hard he had to turn the machine off. Everyone else just shook their heads at me. Maybe this is only funny to me.

So that was my day at work, other than my mock feude with the asian guy.

Yep. I went back in 99. Italy (Piza Florence Rome the Vatican), Paris and London. It was amazing. Id like to get back there someday when Im not with a tour and can go off exploring in my own :)
